Brian May playing his red special guitar that he built with his father when he was a teenager. The photo was taken at the Sunbury Music Festival, January 1974, during Queen’s first tour outside of the UK. There were two shows planned for Queen at Sunbury, but due to an arm and ear infection, a hostile crowd and backstage fighting, they flew back to England the next day.
